Till it in with a shovel (picture "folding" in a recipe)...scoop in, lift, and turn over. Then dig a hole for the plant that is twice as big as the pot it is in. Put a little water in the hole and smoosh it around with your trowel. Set the plant in the hole, fill the hole with dirt, and be sure to firmly press all around to be sure to get out any remaining air pockets. Poke your seeds in the ground wherever you want them to grow. Water right away so that the roots will get a good water source. After that, water ever few days. Once established, water when the soil is dry, about once or twice a week. Be careful with the lavender that you don't over-water. It likes a dry environment, so try not to let the water get too soggy. Yay, have fun!!Nikkihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18384393611312501319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-822613966988353331.post-30569128771632996702009-04-01T10:17:00.000-07:002009-04-01T10:17:00.000-07:00Oh I'm so excited I hardly know what to do with my...Oh I'm so excited I hardly know what to do with myself!! :)<BR/>What do I need besides plants?
